Crimped locks of type "crocodile" and the modular fork allow to attach sweepingly the test oscillator to bare conductors, patching panels or to a standard modular jack. The inductive feeler is used with the voice-frequency oscillator for check of serviceability of a cable without direct contact to a wire.
