It is intended for testing telephone lines (check of polarity of lines, индетификация telephone pairs, посылка a voice-frequency signal, an integrity checking of lines).
Crimped locks of type "crocodile" and modular fork RJ11 allow to attach sweepingly the test oscillator to bare conductors, patching panels or to a standard modular jack. The inductive feeler is used with the voice-frequency oscillator for check of serviceability of a cable without direct contact to a wire.
